Ingredients

5-6 garlic heads
-
1 tablespoon of avocado oil
-
a pinch of paprika
-
a pinch of cayenne
-
1 large yellow onion, chopped
-
1 jalapeño pepper, chopped
-
3 tablespoons of Marie Sharp’s Green Cactus Habanero Pepper Sauce (more or less depending on spice level)

1 jar of Dona Maria Nopalitos
-
2 packages of diced pancetta
-
1 cup of Marie Sharp's Cactus Moringa Salsa (more or less depending on spice level)

1/4 teaspoon of cayenne
-
1/4 teaspoon of paprika seasoning
-
Roasted garlic cloves (recipe above)

1 quart of chicken broth
-
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
-
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese

Directions
Roasted Garlic
Preheat the oven to 350°. While the oven is heating up, cut off the top of each garlic head. Make sure you do not cut off too much of the actual garlic cloves. Pour the avocado oil over the garlic heads and sprinkle the seasonings on top of the oil. Then wrap them individually in some foil. Place them onto a baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes.Once done, let the garlic cool completely.

Cook the pancetta in a large pot until crispy. Leaving the grease, remove the pancetta and set it aside in a bowl.
Add the onions, jalapeño, Marie Sharp's Green Cactus Habanero Pepper Sauce, 1/2 jar of the nopalitos, 1/2 cup of the Marie Sharp's Cactus Moringa Salsa, cayenne pepper and paprika to the pot. Sauté until the onions start to become translucent.
While the onion mixture is sautéing, remove the garlic cloves from the roasted garlic heads. Then place into a blender.
Add the onion mixture and the chicken broth to the blender with the roasted garlic cloves. Blend together until the mixture is smooth. Then pour back into the large pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Once it reaches a simmer, add the heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until everything is combined and the cheese is melted. Then remove from the heat and add the other 1/2 of the nopalitos and the cooked pancetta. Then Enjoy!
